How long does the approval process take until I become a bambassador?
We are a small business so it may take us some time to approve new bambassadors. During the winter months it usually is a few days, however if it is outside of ski season, approvals may be delayed until the start of the next ski season.
How will I know if my application is approved?
Our team will carefully review your application and if yours is approved, then you'll receive an email confirming your acceptance and some promotion assets to help you get started. For denials, we will also email you with more information on how to move forward.
How are referrals tracked?
Upon acceptance into the bambassador program, you will receive access to your own affiliate dashboard where you can manage your affiliate links and/or coupons. When customers purchase using your link or coupon, the sales will be credited to you and therefore earn you commissions. Especially with links, even if customers don’t place orders on the first visit, your affiliate cookie will be stored in their browsers and devices - which still earns you commissions when they later purchase as long as the cookie hasn't expired.
How do I get paid as a bambassador?
Our bambassadors get paid directly to the payment account of their choice, or with discounts converted from Store Credit. Be sure that you have shared your w-9 information so that we can send you a 1099 tax form before you start receiving payouts. You can submit your w-9 information inside the affiliate portal.
When do I get paid with by the bambassador program?
When you successfully bring in orders, payments will be sent out on a monthly basis.
Who is this bambassador program for?
We're looking for people who are crazy about skiing or trekking, active on social media, 17 years old or older (or have parent permission) and are ready to save the planet and make it cooler!
What do I get for being a bambassador?
Your own pair of the coolest poles on the planet! A pile of Booyah! Bambassador cards to share. A personal discount code + affiliate link to share so others can save 15%. 12% of every sale that transacts with your code or link. Prizes in Bambassador contests such as stickers, hats, shirts, hoodies, water bottles, flasks, etc.
What can I do to earn money from being a bambassador?
The easiest ways to earn commissions is to Write your Bambassador code or link on your card and pass along to skiers on the chair lift! You can also post pictures or videos with #BooyahBamboo on social media and other websites with your discount code or referral link or make content available for Booyah! Bamboo to repost.
Are there any expectations of being a bambassador?
Being a bambassador is simple! We ask bambassadors to promote the sale of Booyah! Bamboo poles throughout the season and make at least one post on social media with the hashtag #BooyahBamboo. If you don't fulfill the minimum 1 social media post, your bambassador renewal will expire the following year (though your affiliate discount code will still work, commissions won't be available).
